How the 2022 Tanzanian Census / Sensa will impact efforts to reduce 91ÁÔÆæ in Serengeti
Throughout the month of August and even beyond, there will be school closures, this will be longer than in a standard year when a Census is not being conducted. A key risk during this period is to girls whose families will use this extended period of being away from school to carry out female genital cutting/mutilation (91ÁÔÆæ).

Facilitating the creation of female entrepreneur groups in Serengeti and Butiama
The Hope team recently organised a gathering for women and girls in Serengeti and Butiama to learn important skills to help them generate income. The entrepreneurship training included the sharing of information on how to work economically, ensuring a profit can be made from their industry of choice.
